We offer comprehensive treatment planning and use restorative and cosmetic dentistry to help you achieve optimal oral health. In a dental emergency, we make every effort to see you as quickly as possible — same-day visits are often available, and we offer an after-hours, non–life-threatening emergency phone line.

Education & Prevention

We’re true believers that preventative care and education are the keys to optimal dental health. We strive to provide “dental health care” instead of “disease care” — focusing on thorough exams, oral cancer screenings, and x-rays when necessary. Routine cleanings, flossing, sealants, and fluoride all help prevent dental disease, and reviewing your medical history helps us stay informed of your overall health.

Uncompromising Safety

Infection control is very important to us. To protect our patients and our team, we strictly maintain sterilization and cross-contamination processes using standards recommended by the ADA, OSHA, and the CDC.

Dr. Oliver Cabrera, a Florida native, has a lovely wife, Christa, and four wonderful children: Olivia, Annabella, Christian, and Roman.

He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point and served six years as an Armor Officer in the 4th Infantry Division. That experience laid a foundation for success as he went on to graduate at the top of his class at Howard University College of Dentistry. He completed his residency between the University of Florida and Rochester General Hospital, where he learned advanced surgical procedures and IV sedation and began his implant training. Committed to evidence-based dentistry, he completed his implant training at the Misch Institute of Implantology.

Dr. Cabrera treats every aspect of dentistry — restorative, prosthodontics, pedodontics, implantology, endodontics, oral surgery, periodontics, orthodontics, and TMD. A true gentleman who loves to take time with his patients, his deep compassion and warm chairside manner stem from his relationship with the Lord.

He loves dentistry, but more importantly loves to serve Christ, and hopes his gentleness, care, and treatment reflect his love for God. He enjoys most sports — his top three being football, tennis, and basketball — and he hasn’t met an ice cream he didn’t like (but don’t tell him we told you so).

Christa was born and partially raised in Rochester, NY, before moving to sunny Naples, FL, as a young girl — where she met her amazing would-be husband. First, she attended The Florida State University, where she competed in Track & Field and earned her BS in Physical Education. Christa taught and coached high school in Florida and Texas, married, and started her family of four beautiful children and a fur-baby Cane Corso named Samson.

As God would have it, her experience in coaching and her love for people would serve her well. After years as a Director of Marketing, she joyfully decided to come alongside Dr. Oliver Cabrera and Soul Dental to compassionately care for the Port Charlotte community.

Christa enjoys time with her family, supporting her kids in sports, volunteering, traveling, discovering local restaurants and businesses, engaging in church, and connecting others for a greater purpose.
